Hmm....That's interesting. I'll need to dig deeper. The commentaries I have red mention refer to Megiddo as the valley and never mention the mountain. I wonder if there is a reason for the distinction, or if it is merely that in the OT it is called the "valley of Megiddo," and a lack of knowledge of the landmass leads them to the conclusions they write of. In either case, I appreciate the insight, though I'll decline the trip at this point. I'd love some pictures if you ever take them, demonstrating all of the above. You can always share them with me via facebook if you take any. Pax!

Love your messages--FYI...there is a har Megiddo (the ancient city sits high above the Jezreel Valley where so many battles were fought.) I've travelled these many times. That doesn't make millennial thoughts correct, but don't suggest the Megiddo is a plain. It is not/. If you'd like me to take you there, message me. I'm going in April 2018.
